In an attempt to navigate a more equitable means of abstraction and rendering of human connection and essence, I created a system of translation. Modeling the structure in the likeness and then importing the raw data from audio files containing an exchange between myself and my subject, an abstraction occurs. This process generates a visual surrogate for the subject, abstracted by the interaction. It is an attempt to conjure human interaction, functioning as a conflict to sort out in the painting.
